A question remains.
Who can help?

How does the work actually get done? What information is missing? What is still unclear?

People often already know the answers, but no one has brought them together yet. Someone needs to ask questions, put the information in context and record what is still unclear.

Lessy helps gather that information through conversation. Our aim is to ask the right questions and reduce the time your team spends following up.

How it works

One task. One conversation.
A basis for the next steps.

  1. The task

    What needs to be clarified?

Create your own fact-finding task in Lessy: What needs to be clarified, which questions and information matter, and what result do you need? For example: What information is missing to approve an invoice?

  2. The conversation

    Share what you know.

Lessy asks follow-up questions. You do not need to prepare a polished explanation, and you can correct your answers as you go.

  3. The result

    Results that fit the task.

Depending on the task, Lessy records information, answers and unresolved questions. Your team decides which results it needs and who reviews them.

Lessy is a product developed by Engelmann AI for businesses and service providers with information to clarify. You create your own tasks. When needed, we support adoption and special requirements through advice and targeted adaptations.

Explore our services

A purpose-built approach. Ready for you to use.

You bring the task. Lessy brings the conversation flow.

An instruction such as “Clarify this issue” sets the goal, but does not define how the conversation should work: When should the agent ask follow-up questions? How should it handle missing information and corrections? Lessy already includes this conversation design. You define the task, questions, context and desired results yourself in the product.

Build on a prepared process

Lessy guides fact-finding conversations, asks follow-up questions and organises the answers. You can build on its conversation design and result preparation, then define what needs to be clarified in your case.

Keep developing the product

We continually assess what information people need to clarify and which product improvements would help. These findings guide how we develop the conversation approach and software. Automated tests check technical boundaries in Lessy; we also test conversation quality and usefulness with specific use cases.

Designed for conversation and review

The participant has a dedicated conversation interface. Authorised staff can view results and quality checks in the admin dashboard. The conversation and the work that follows are part of one product.

“Just one more correction: it’s not ten, it’s 20 delivery notes a day.”

“Thank you for the correction, so around 20 delivery notes a day.”
Lessy follows up
“Looking at my summary, what is still incorrect or missing — for example, a step, a role or a decision?”

An everyday conversation, not a studio recording.

This recording was made during a car journey, with road noise, pauses and spontaneous corrections. Not every answer is fully formed at first.

Two interfaces, one conversation workflow

A conversation for the participant.
An overview for your team.

For the person taking part

The conversation interface guides the participant through the questions. They can answer, add details and correct misunderstandings, without having to design the conversation flow or write a prompt themselves.

Where a conversation
can help.

Five possible uses. You define the goal, questions and desired results for each fact-finding task.

A possible application of Lessy

Clarify
requirements

An AI project to handle customer enquiries needs a clearer picture of the current workflow.

Lessy can ask staff about the steps involved, the information they need and any exceptions. Your team reviews the answers and adds missing details.

Structured information and unanswered questions to support the next stage of your project.

Workflows

When workflows have not
been documented.

Employees explain how they actually work. Lessy asks about steps, participants and exceptions.

A starting point for the process analysis that follows.

Problems in practice

When something goes wrong.
But why?

What happened? When does the problem occur? Who is affected? A focused conversation gathers observations and open questions.

A basis for investigating the causes.

Initial consultations

Prepare for
the first conversation.

One possible use: customers describe what they need to Lessy before a meeting. This helps them organise their thoughts and gives the advisory team a chance to prepare.

Planned for our website:an optional preliminary interview after booking. You can still have a personal conversation without it.

Feedback

What is working?
What is still missing?

A conversation can also gather feedback on a changed workflow: What is clearer now? Where are the obstacles? What is still needed?

Feedback helps your team assess improvements and decide what to change next.

In development

The next step:
Coordinate several conversations.

In future, Lessy is intended to follow a task across several conversations, gather information from named contacts and bring unanswered questions together.

Autonomous calls and coordination across several conversations are planned.

Frequently asked questions

What to know before using it

Could I use a general-purpose AI agent for this?

Yes. With a general-purpose AI agent, you develop, test and maintain the conversation design yourself. Lessy provides a purpose-built product that we continue to develop. You create your own fact-finding tasks with questions, context and desired results.

How is Lessy different from writing my own prompt?

A prompt can describe a fact-finding task. Lessy provides the conversation design, a dedicated interface and result preparation as part of the product. You build on these and define the task, questions, context and desired results yourself.

How do you ensure that changes don't break the process?

We use automated checks when developing Lessy to test defined software, access and workflow rules. Changes to models, conversation instructions or interfaces need suitable additional checks. We assess conversation quality using specific cases. Technical tests and review by the people responsible complement each other.

How are data protection and GDPR taken into account?

Before use, we clarify the required data, access, recipients and providers, as well as how information will be stored and deleted. The privacy assessment depends on the specific processing. Technical safeguards and tests support that assessment; they do not establish blanket GDPR compliance.

What are you responsible for as the provider?

We record the agreed tasks, scope and responsibilities in the contract. This may include setup, technical maintenance and support. Your company remains responsible for its own decisions and data protection obligations. Liability depends on applicable law and the contract.

Who takes care of maintenance, further development and ease of use?

We develop and maintain the core Lessy product. This includes ongoing product planning: assessing new functional requirements, considering possible solutions and deciding which improvements would help. Having a working version of the software does not replace that work. We also assess how new features and technical changes affect existing workflows, and test usability with the intended users. We agree separately on the day-to-day operation, maintenance and support included for each use case.

Who is Lessy for?

For businesses with information to clarify, and agencies, IT service providers and consultants working on client projects. You create your own tasks. Lessy can, for example, gather requirements for an AI agent and preferences for its character and identity.

Which interfaces does Lessy include?

Lessy connects the participant’s conversation interface with the admin dashboard for authorised staff. Both are shown in “Two interfaces, one conversation workflow”.

Can Lessy be adapted to our requirements?

Yes. You define the questions, context and desired results yourself in each fact-finding task. For special workflows, additional features or tool integrations, we discuss requirements, feasibility, effort and responsibilities separately.
